The Sindh government declared a public holiday on May 1.
According to Express News, according to the notification issued by the Sindh government, there will be a holiday in the government and educational institutions of Sindh on the occasion of International Labor Day. Events will also be organized in different cities of the province on the occasion of Labor Day.
The purpose of celebrating this day is to remember the struggle of the workers of the American city of Chicago, who raised their voices against the capitalist class in Chicago in 1886. The sacrifices of the workers enriched the energies of the workers.
