Once again a hike in petrol price is set to take place. Preparations are being made to drop pricey petrol bombs on Pakistanis, in which petrol is likely to increase by Rs.30 per liter.
According to sources, the Pakistan government is considering imposing a 17% GST on all sorts of petroleum products.

By the end of January, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had announced a huge hike of Rs 35 in the price of petrol as well as diesel.
The current petrol is Rs 249. 80 paise while the price of high-speed diesel per liter is Rs 262. 80 paise per liter. Similarly, kerosene is available at Rs.189. 83 per liter and light diesel oil at Rs.187 per liter.
After the increase in prices the petrol prices will be up to Rs 280 and high-speed diesel will be Rs 290 per liter.
