Minnesota: A 41-year-old man in America spent $170,000 (1.35 crore) on a painful surgery to increase his height by just 5 inches.
According to media reports, Mr. Gibson, who hails from the American state of Minnesota, has spent Rs 1.35 crore on two leg lengthening surgeries to increase his height by five inches.
Always self-conscious about his 5ft 5in height, Moses Gibson tried everything from medication to spiritual therapy before undergoing the painful surgery.
Mr Gibson told the media that due to his short stature, he had to listen to a lot of things which made him unhappy. “I used to put things in my shoes to increase my height,” he said.

Mr. Gibson worked as a software engineer by day and as an Uber driver by night for three years to raise $75,000 (Rs. 61.48 lakh) for his first surgery, after which he had his first surgery in 2016 and grew 3 inches in height. Increased. However, he was not satisfied with it and wanted to go for another surgery.

So this year, Gibson once again spent $98,000 (Rs 80.34 lakh) for a second surgery that added another 2 inches to his height.
