What the Police did, they did not do less, Federal Minister’s Reaction to the Raid on Pervez Elahi’s House

Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain has expressed his reaction to the raid of the anti-corruption and Punjab police at the house of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi last night.

In a statement on social media, Chaudhry Salik Hussain shared a verse of the Holy Quran along with pictures of his hands with wounds and wrote, “At night, the police raided our house and tried to break the entrance door of the house.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain told the police that no one is present at home except father and mother, if they try to enter the house, I will resist.

حَسْبِیَ اﷲُ وَنِعْمَ اٌلْوَکِیلُ۔
ہمارے لیے اللّٰہ ہی کافی ہے اور وہ بہترین کارساز ہے۔
رات کو پولیس نے ہمارےگھر پر ریڈ کی اور گھر کا داخلی دروازہ توڑنےکی کوشش کی۔ ان کو بتایا گھر پر والد اور والدہ کے علاوہ کوئی بھی موجود نہیں ہے، اگر گھر کے اندر داخل ہوئے تو میں مزاحمت کروں گا۔ pic.twitter.com/UEa134vWdo

In another tweet, Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that Parvez Elahi’s sister-in-law, who is also my father-in-law, told the police that Parvez Elahi was in our house, break the door, the police did what they did, but they did nothing less.

Apart from this, former federal minister Munis Elahi also shared a video on social media and said that well done Punjab Police, that’s why Chaudhry Parvez Elahi gave you privileges against the will of the bureaucrats.
