LAHORE: A case has been registered under 13 sections including terrorism against the police personnel for pelting stones and throwing petrol bombs during the raid on the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
According to the police, 19 people including Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have been named in the FIR in the case filed in Ghalib Market police station of Lahore.
According to the FIR, the anti-corruption team raided Parvez Elahi’s house to arrest him, during which 40 to 50 people present in the residence started pelting stones and violence, petrol was thrown at the raiding team and during this time Parvez Elahi Elahi escaped.

It has been stated in the FIR that 19 people were also arrested for resisting during the raid.
It should be remembered that last night anti-corruption Punjab and police team raided his house to arrest Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and the police had to return unsuccessfully in the operation that lasted for about 8 hours.
