In a shocking incident of medical negligence, two women with similar names became victims of mistaken surgeries at a private hospital in the Ghulam Muhammadabad area of Faisalabad.
The first victim, Parveen Kausar, a resident of Ghulam Muhammadabad, was originally scheduled for knee surgery. However, due to a mix-up in patient records, she underwent a gallbladder operation instead.
Conversely, the second woman named Kausar Parveen, a resident of Chak 58 in Faisalabad, was supposed to receive knee surgery but ended up undergoing a gallbladder operation. As a result, her condition deteriorated.
Deeply aggrieved by the medical mishap, the families of the affected women approached the police for assistance and requested further investigation into the matter.
