According to Khalid Hussain Soomro, the victim has been identified as 30-year-old Samir, who works in property investment, and the event occurred in Buffarzone Sector 15A1. According to officials, Sameer was driving a car alongside his family when three criminals on two motorbikes grabbed him and robbed him.

According to SHO Timuriya, the dead Samir also shot at the thieves with his firearm, which resulted in one of the robbers being gravely hurt by the bullet and his comrades fleeing the scene. According to Khalid Hussain Soomro, the robbers grabbed their injured partner in a rickshaw at the North Nazimabad Road bus terminal and drove him to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where one died on the route as he fled. According to the authorities, the woman escorting the deceased Sameer recognized the killed robber, while the accused was not immediately identified, but efforts are being made in this respect.
