New York: Former US President Donald Trump was found guilty of sexual assault with Jane Carroll in 1996.
According to the international news agency, the US court declared former President Donald Trump involved in the sexual abuse of Jane Carroll, who did not appear for testimony despite being repeatedly called to testify in the sexual assault case.
The jury wrote in the verdict that former President Trump also damaged the reputation of Jane Carroll, on which Donald Trump should pay 5 million dollars in damages to the victim, who is 79-year-old Jane Carroll. It should be noted that this was a civil case, due to which the former president could not be indicted or sentenced to prison. Therefore, the court only ordered to pay damages.

The woman Jane Carroll had accused the former president of sexual abuse in the case, but in the court decision, Donald Trump was declared involved in sexual abuse. Reacting to the court verdict, the former US President termed the case as a ‘witch hunt’ and said that he did not even know the woman, but despite that, he was found guilty.
