Ayesha Shroff, the wife of Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff and mother of actor Tiger Shroff, has filed a cheating case after allegedly being duped of INR 58 lakhs by a film producer.
According to reports from Indian news agencies, Ayesha Shroff lodged a complaint at the Santacruz police station in Mumbai, India. The case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including Sections 420, 408, 465, 467, and 468. The investigation into the matter is currently underway.
The complaint alleges that Alan Fernandez, who was appointed as the Director of Operations at MMA Matrix Company owned by Ayesha Shroff and her mother on November 20, 2018, deceived them. Fernandez was responsible for overseeing the company’s activities while Tiger Shroff was occupied with his acting commitments.
It is reported that the accused collected a significant sum of money, amounting to INR 58,53,591, in the company’s bank account by organizing a total of 11 tournaments in India and abroad since his appointment until January 2023.
Notably, Ayesha Shroff had previously filed a similar case of cheating and criminal intimidation against actor Sahil Khan in 2015. She accused him of non-payment of dues totaling INR 4 crore.
