The Decision of the Government to Present the Summary for Election Funds in the Cabinet Today

Islamabad: The federal government has decided to submit the summary for the election funds in Punjab today to the federal cabinet.

In the meeting of the Standing Committee on Finance of the National Assembly, the Minister of State for Finance Ayesha Ghos Pasha said that we are sending the summary of the supplementary grant to the Cabinet meeting today.

It was decided in the meeting that the summary for the funds will be presented in the federal cabinet meeting today and after approval from the federal cabinet, the matter will be taken to the national assembly today.

The Minister of State said that the State Bank has no authority to spend without the approval of the Parliament, if the National Assembly approves the funds will be released, the Finance Division also cannot use the funds without the approval of the Cabinet and the National Assembly.

On this occasion, the Law Minister said that today there is a meeting of the Federal Cabinet and the National Assembly, this matter will be resolved in the National Assembly meeting.
