Lahore: Notification of ban has been issued, Punjab Interior Department is going to impose Section 144 in three areas of Lahore for 7 days.
According to the details, the notification of the Punjab Home Department says that during the imposition, there will be a complete ban on protests, rallies, processions, and sit-ins.

The areas where Section 144 has been enforced include Main Mir Bridge to Istanbul Square, around Civil Secretariat, and Gulberg Boulevard. In these areas Section 144 will be enforced for 7 days.
To maintain the law and order situation for the matches of the 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League, Additional Chief Secretary Shakeel Ahmed sent copies of the notification to all concerned institutions.
It should be noted that the Pakistan Super League 8 matches in Lahore will begin on February 26 with the match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi.
