The sale of a 10 kg bag of flour at a discounted rate has been stopped in Lahore due to evidence of irregularities.
The Punjab Food Department has taken this step to prevent further irregularities in selling cheap flour.
The sale of these bags of cheap flour has been temporarily halted for a few days.
The suspension of the sale of cheap flour in Lahore has caused problems for citizens who are now forced to buy expensive commercial flour as the government has distributed free flour instead of restoring the supply of cheap flour.

Sources from the Punjab Food Department have stated that the temporary stoppage of the sale of cheap flour is necessary to prevent irregularities.
However, citizens are expressing their frustration with the government’s actions, stating that they used to rely on the availability of cheap flour, which has now been taken away from them.
