The Deputy Commissioner of Lahore has issued a notification regarding the new working hours for bakeries and food points during Ramadan, following the orders of the High Court.
The Deputy Commissioner of Lahore has issued a notification stating that restaurants and food points in the city can remain open from Iftar until 6 am. In comparison, bakeries can open until 1 am during Ramadan.

The notification also states that bakeries will be allowed to remain open until 1 am on the three days of Eid. However, certain essential services such as hospitals, medical stores, laboratories, milk shops, and ovens will be exempted from the restrictions. The notification has been issued in compliance with the orders of the High Court.
