Lahore, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan reacted to the viral photo of Lt. Gen. (retd) Amjad Shoaib behind bars.

Releasing a statement on the social networking website Twitter, Former Prime Minister Imran Khan said that seeing Amjad Shoaib like this, I feel ashamed as a Pakistani.

He said that the imported government has sent a patriotic Pakistani to jail on charges of sedition.

It is noteworthy that Lt. Gen. (retd) Amjad Shoaib was detained in the case of spreading hatred against institutions and inciting people. The court handed him over to the police on a 3-day physical remand.
