Lahore: Chairman PTI Imran Khan appeared in the anti-terrorism court for interim bail in 2 cases.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Ijaz Ahmad Butar heard the interim bail case against the former Prime Minister in two cases registered in the Race Course police station. While giving arguments, lawyer Salman Safdar said that the plaintiff in Imran Khan’s case is the police.
Lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar while giving arguments to the court said that cases are being made on political grounds. Police have registered cases against Imran Khan. There is a lot of political violence in the Lahore High Court at the moment. The courts are hearing the detention orders and it is from morning to evening. Serious cases are being registered. Police are registering cases without a warrant. The Islamabad High Court is angry with the police for registering such cases. In whatever case they want, they accuse Imran Khan of assisting.
During the hearing, Imran Khan appeared in the special anti-terrorism court after the interim bail expired. Where he completed the biometric process in the admin office before appearing before the court. The former prime minister was brought to the court under tight security.
Continuing the arguments, the lawyer told the court that there was no incident inside the house. Why was the person who injured the DIG not arrested? Why was no one arrested for attacking the police? Such a large front was erected to serve a small warrant. This grand operation has been done, was he the former prime minister or was he a terrorist? This was wrong done by the police and should not have happened. When the petitioner leaves his home, he is attacked. They filed an FIR on me sitting at home and attacked me.

The lawyer further said that Imran Khan conducted condolence programs on the death of Zal Shah. After the death of Zal Shah, Imran Khan was very depressed. Petitioner Imran Khan should be granted interim bail. A case was registered against Imran Khan on the basis of malice.
During the hearing, more elite force personnel were also brought outside the special anti-terrorism court.
