KARACHI: A woman living a life of poverty has claimed that she is the granddaughter of classical singer Ghulam Ali and the real sister of Sajjad Ali. But due to worse circumstances, she has been begging and working as a maid in people’s houses.
Talking to the host of a private production, the lady said that her name is Bushra Akhtar and she belongs to a family of classical music. He said that Big Ghulam Ali is like my grandfather.
Bushra claimed that she is the sister of famous singer Sajjad Ali. She added that I always pray for Sajjad’s health and happiness, and why not we share the same family.

The woman said that because of the family of Mian Qadir Bakhsh, we could not step into the world of music. But the family of my grandfather’s brother, Ghulam Ali, worked hard in music and is still doing it today.
Bushra said that “maybe Sajjad Ali wants to meet us but he does not know about our house, I know that he is a very kind person”.
The woman said that she is forced to beg and work at home to make both ends meet. She also sings at different darbars to earn money for her two children along with her husband’s treatment.
