Indian women wrestlers spoke openly on the issue of harassment of athletes, saying that they wish that no one brings medals for India in the future.
Vinesh Phogat, the woman wrestler who won medals in international competitions for India, broke down in tears while talking to the media. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Bhushan Sharan is resting in his house and we are fighting for our rights.
In India, many churches and houses are on fire, the state media is silent. The Indian woman wrestler said that the police are pushing women, if you want to beat us, then beat us like that. They brought medals for India on the same day, so I would like no one to bring medals for India in the future.
It should be noted that many wrestlers of India have been protesting against the Chief of the Wrestling Federation Brij Bhushan for the last several days. Brij Bhushan was accused of sexual harassment by female wrestlers.
