Good News for Government Employees, Big Possibility of Increase In Salary And Pension

In spite of the limited resources in the upcoming budget, there is a possibility of including a proposal to increase the salaries and pensions of civil and military employees by 15 to 30 percent.

According to the report of Moqar Qaumi newspaper, in the cabinet meeting called by the prime minister, the rising prices of commodities in the country and their impact on the people in general and the salaried class, whether it is civilian or military, on their living expenses. Taking into account the increase, the Prime Minister will consult on increasing the salaries and pensions of civil and military employees in the federal budget by at least 50% of the inflation rate, if not possible.

According to the report, the term of the current assemblies is going to end in the middle of August 2023, so the government in the new federal budget has proposed an increase of 15 to 30 percent in the salaries and pensions of the general public and the military and civil employees in the financial bill. It will make every possible effort to get approval from the National Assembly.
