The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment registered a case on Wednesday against Farhat Shehzadi, also known as Farah Gogi, a close friend of former first lady Bushra Bibi, former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, and Bushra Bibi’s son, Ibrahim Manika, on corruption charges.

They further claimed that senior bureaucrats, including Tahir Khurshid, Ahmed Tarar, Saleh Saeed, Usman Moazzam, Sohail Khawaja, and other officers and employees, received millions of rupees as bribes for facilitating transfers and postings in the province.
Authorities also revealed that large sums of money were handed over to Farhat Shehzadi at her residence in Lahore. She then allegedly deposited the received bribes into her personal bank account at Liberty Market. The investigation has found that Ibrahim Manika, the son of Bushra Bibi, would visit Farhat Shehzadi’s house to collect his share of the bribe money.
The inquiry has exposed that Shehzadi received a total of Rs450 million as bribes in connection with transfers and postings in the province.
