Federal Budget likely to be presented on June 9 or 10

Islamabad: The federal budget is likely to be presented on June 9 or 10.

According to Finance Ministry sources, the National Economic Survey is likely to be released on June 8. The meeting of the National Economic Council chaired by the Prime Minister will be called in the first week of June.

Sources from the Ministry of Finance say that the meeting of the Annual Planning Coordination Committee will be held in the middle of May. The Annual Planning Coordination Committee will prepare the outlines of the development budget.

According to the sources, efforts are being made to fulfill the IMF conditions in budget preparation.
