As Ramadan enters its final Ashra (10 days), the federal government has approved a five-day holiday for Eid ul Fitr, one of the most anticipated holidays for Muslims that marks the end of the holy month of fasting.
The Cabinet Division recommended the Eid holidays, which will be from April 21 to April 25, according to the interior ministry. The Ministry of Interior will issue regular notifications of the Eid holidays. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to meet on April 20 to sight the Eid ul Fitr crescent moon.
