ISLAMABAD, While giving a decision on the matter of elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Agreeing to a 2/3rd majority, the Supreme Court has finally ordered the elections within 90 days.
According to the details, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Jamal Mandukhel have disagreed by rejecting the application. In the dissenting note, it has been said that Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Athar Manullah agree with the notice of rejection of the requests for Suo Motu notice on the elections.
The Lahore High Court has already given a decision on the elections, the Supreme Court cannot take Suo Motu notice on the matter pending in the High Court, and the court should not use its power of 184/3 in such cases.
