A leopard entered a private housing society in Islamabad and injured six citizens. Luckily, after 8 hours, it was caught alive by wildlife and rescue officials.
According to sources, a wild cheetah entered a private housing society (DHA Phase Two) After that, the people of the neighborhood informed the relief organization and wildlife.
In view of the leopard attack, the residents were confined to their houses, and volunteers of Rescue 1122, and wildlife officials reached the spot. Meanwhile, the bloodthirsty leopard injured six people, including two wildlife staff members and security guards.

Rescue volunteers admitted that they could not catch the leopard timely. Rescue organization 1122 said that due to the lack of modern weapons, it was difficult to control the leopards.
Although the wildlife team tried their best to catch the leopard, the wild leopard could not be controlled. The area was sealed and the citizens were directed to stay in their homes.
Later, the rescue officials and the wildlife team sedated the wild leopard and rescued it alive after struggling for 8 hours, earlier it was decided to shoot it dead.
Spokesman 1122 said that the leopard has been safely rescued by Islamabad Wildlife, it will remain unconscious for an hour and then it will be released into the forest by wildlife officials. The frightened citizens breathed a sigh of relief when the leopard was caught after 8 hours.
