Extraordinary instructions have been issued to private security companies nationwide regarding the police.
The Ministry of Interior has issued a letter regarding private security companies to the chief secretaries of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan. It has been said that the guards of private security companies cannot stop the police on duty in any way.
The Ministry of Home Affairs letter said that private security guards could not use force against police officers.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered all private security companies to ensure the implementation of the directives.
It is said in the post that if a security guard is involved in such an action, the company’s license can be revoked. In section 186, there is a punishment of 3 months imprisonment for obstructing the performance of public servants’ affairs.
