Mumbai: Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui slammed big-budget films.
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said in an interview given to an Indian website that the name of the film industry has been ruined by big-budget films.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui further said that where the big films are playing. Sometimes there is fear that because of these films, the film industry will be shut down. Films with a cast of big stars are continuously flopping.

He said that a film should have a purpose whether it is big or small. It’s not that it’s a big-budget film, just do it for money. There must be something in the film. Salman Khan’s film Bajrangi Bhai is an example. The film had stars and the theme of the film was such that it had a message as well as entertainment for the audience.
