A traffic police officer was killed in Hyderabad after being hit by a truck, but the driver has now been arrested.

According to SP Traffic Anil Haider, the incident occurred near Halla Naka, where the officer attempted to stop the truck driving the wrong way in violation of traffic regulations. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident but has since been apprehended by authorities.

The truck driver did not stop and ran over the traffic policeman. The injured ASI Khan Muhammad was taken to the Civil Hospital but could not survive. The police promptly took action, arrested the truck driver, Samir Amir Khan, and seized the truck. Further investigation is underway.
