Anti-corruption Punjab has summoned several former provincial ministers and members of the Punjab Assembly in Lahore today. Those summoned include former provincial ministers Chaudhry Zahiruddin and Ali Afzal Sahi and former MPs Waris Aziz, Ali Akhtar Taimur, and Shakeel Shahid.
According to a spokesperson for the anti-corruption agency, Zaheeruddin and Ali Akhtar Taimur are accused of operating an illegal bus stand. The corruption highway officers Hasan Bajwa and Saddam were given additional charges.

According to the spokesman, Waris Aziz is accused of committing a scam worth crores of rupees by converting 2500 kanals of agricultural land into residential land. Anti-corruption authorities have seized the records of all project centres in connection with the case.
