According to media reports, violent clashes erupted between Baloch students and Pashtoons Students. Quaid e Azam University Administration announced to close the university till further notice.

In different videos, it is seen that groups of Pashtoon students are gathering and they are having different tools in their hands. They also brought axes, wood logs, and clubs to fight with Baloch students.

Many of them are reported that they are shopkeepers and laborers from nearby areas. This acceleration started over a minor dispute over housing in hostels between students lead to a violent clash leaving hundreds injured
