Salamabad: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan with the help of Rangers.
Imran Khan appeared in the Islamabad High Court in a wheelchair to get bail in various cases from where he was detained by NAB Rawalpindi. Imran Khan was taken away by the Rangers authorities and presented in NAB Rawalpindi under tight security.
On this occasion, security was on high alert outside the Islamabad High Court and Rangers personnel were present in large numbers. Lawyer Ali Bukhari said that Imran Khan had gone outside the Dairi branch to take biometrics, where he was arrested for breaking the glasses of the biometric room.

Lawyer Barrister Gohar claimed that Rangers tortured Imran Khan, his head and injured leg were tortured, and his wheelchair was thrown there. NAB says that Chairman NAB Lieutenant General (retd) Nazir Ahmed had issued arrest warrant for Imran Khan on May 1.
Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi has challenged the NAB inquiry in the Islamabad High Court in the Al-Qadir University case. He made the Chairman and DG NAB Rawalpindi a party in the petition and took the position that the political opponents started the NAB investigation on baseless allegations, the court should order to provide the details of the NAB inquiry.
Al-Qadir University is a private university under construction in Suhawa area of Jhelum near Islamabad. This project is part of Al Qadir University Project Trust. On May 5, 2019, the then Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of Al Qadir University. His vision was to build such a university where worldly teachings would be taught along with Sufism and the Prophet’s biography.

A private housing society donated land for this university. The private society transferred this land to Zulfi Bukhari who transferred it to Al Qadir Trust. Shahzad Akbar presented the sale deed for the purchase in the federal cabinet meeting which was approved by the cabinet. 495 crores were transferred from London for this.
Last year, a media report revealed that only 37 students are studying in the university with a trust worth lakhs of rupees.

The university is run by a trust whose trustees were Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Zulfi Bukhari and Babar Awan. However, Zulfi Bukhari and Babar Awan were removed and replaced by Dr. Arif Nazir Butt and Farah Gogi as trustees.

Speaking in the National Assembly last year, Khawaja Asif said that Imran Khan and his family were the trustees of Al-Qadir University, a donation of 50 crores was given to the university, 450 kanals of land were given, 200 kanals were given to the private housing society. The land was given to Farah Gogi, there is no record of all these transactions, it was a fraud that was plotted, the university still does not exist on the land.
