LAHORE: Shab Qadr, the night better than a thousand months, will be celebrated today at midnight of Monday, Tuesday (27th of Ramadan). On the occasion of Shab al-Qadr, the arrangements for the Qur’an meetings were completed today, the mosques were decorated with electric lamps, men and women in their homes will spend the night in prayer in the mosques, the reciters of the Qur’an in the Taraweeh prayer and the listeners will be rewarded with prizes and honors.
Nawaz will be given, sweets will be distributed, and arrangements have also been made for Sehri for worshipers in mosques. It should be remembered that Lailatul-Qadr is one of the most blessed nights of the last decade of Ramadan, which is remembered as the Night of Power and Blessings. The reward of worship in Lailat-ul-Qadr is better than a thousand months.

Millions of Muslims prostrate before Allah Almighty on this night, pay Nawafal and recite the Holy Quran and engage in other acts of worship and pray to the Almighty for the forgiveness of their sins as well as for the security and stability of the country. 75 years ago Pakistan was established on 27th of Ramadan (14th August 1947) according to the lunar month.
