WhatsApp has been in the works for a long time to support multiple devices using one account or phone number simultaneously and now it has finally been rolled out to all users.
In early June 2021, WhatsApp was first confirmed to be working on this feature.
That is, this feature was being worked on for almost 2 years and was introduced to the extent of tablets, but now it will be possible to use it in smartphones.
The Meta-owned company announced the multi-device feature, saying that now it will be possible to use one WhatsApp account on 4 smartphones simultaneously.
According to the company, this feature will be available to all users in the next few weeks.
With this multi-device feature, whichever phone WhatsApp is opened on, it will be possible to view one-year-old messages and files on the main phone.
