SAN FRANCISCO: WhatsApp has updated its features at an unprecedented speed, and is now expected to bring extraordinary changes to voice chat and calling.
According to WhatsApp’s news website ‘Web Beta Info’, some brand new changes are being introduced in the audio chat. Whatsapp will soon offer features like Twitter Spaces.
As per beta version 2.23.7. Twelve new WhatsApp call interfaces will be soon introduced. The call button will be replaced with a wavy logo. This logo will appear at the top of the menu. Thus, also the top audio bar will be extended.
This will improve group chats which will enable many people to share audio files with friends and colleagues, similar to Twitterspace. Also, analysts have compared it to Slack’s Hiddlezia Discord Voice app. According to analysts, the voice option is likely to be similar to Discord.
