The second round of talks between the government and Tehreek-e-Insaf on the issue of holding elections will be held today at 3 o’clock.
The first round of negotiations was held yesterday in the committee room of the Parliament House, during which the government delegation included Ishaq Dar, Azam Nazir Tarar, Saadrafiq, Yousuf Raza Gilani, Naveed Qamar, Kishore Zahra, while the PTI delegation included Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ali Zafar, and Fawad Chaudhry were included.
PTI had described the first round of negotiations with the government as pleasant, in the first round of negotiations, the government and the PTI delegation discussed a one-point election agenda, while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also presented 3 conditions.

During the negotiations, PTI had demanded that the National Assembly and both the provincial assemblies should be dissolved in May, the constitution should be amended for the elections in July, and the resignations of Tehreek-e-Insaaf should be withdrawn.
On this occasion, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he presented his point of view in the 2-hour talks.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that all matters will be resolved within constitutional limits.
On the other hand, Barrister Ali Zafar said that efforts are being made to complete the negotiation process before Monday.
