New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has rejected the request of Jamiat Ulema Hind to stop the release of the controversial anti-Islam and anti-Muslim Bollywood film ‘The Kerala Story’ and declare the story of the film fictional.

According to the  Indian English newspaper ‘The Hindu’, Jamiat Ulama Hind had requested to stop the release of The Kerala Story, declare the story of the film fictional, and clearly mention it in the posters and trailers of the film in this context. Article 32 of the Indian Constitution was cited but the Supreme Court rejected the petition.

According to the media, the Supreme Court has given a brief hearing on the request of Jamiat Ulama Hind and has suggested to approach the High Court in this regard. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India said during the hearing that there is no special justification to refer to the High Court in this regard, it would be better to refer to the High Court, however, the High Court will instruct the subordinate court that the Jamiat Ulamai Hind The application should be heard on a priority basis.

About The Kerala Story, another English newspaper of India, India Today, says that the released trailer of the film states that the story of the film is based on true events. According to the newspaper, the Kerala government itself has also requested the central government to ban the screening of the film, claiming that the claims made in the film are untrue.

The report issued in this regard states that sensitive and secret agencies have also warned the central government in their reports that there may be communal riots in states like Tamil Nadu apart from Kerala on the occasion of the exhibition of The Kerala Story.

According to media reports, secret agencies have suggested the central and state governments to keep security tight on the occasion of the screening of the film, while a wave of outrage is also being seen among the Muslims of India after the release of the film’s trailer.

It has been said in the film that 32 thousand youths and young girls have disappeared from the Indian state of Kerala and joined ISIS, the same girls are spreading terrorism in other countries including India, Syria and Libya.

It is clear from the released trailer of the film that another heinous conspiracy has been hatched to defame Muslims by making the film under special propaganda. It should be noted that in India minorities in general and Muslims in particular are being subjected to violence by extremists.
