The High Court just suspended the arrest warrants of the Election Commission regarding Rawalpindi against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry.
According to a notice issued by the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench, Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry are being investigated for their contempt of Court in the Peshawar High Court warrant. The Court rejected the applications of Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry as overdue.
The Court directed the Election Commission to proceed with the ongoing proceedings within its territory and decided on the merits, with any party able to file an objection. The Court made remarks to that effect in its ruling.

Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan, Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf, and Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz heard the case among them. The Court stated that interim relief would not be given to the petitioner in case of challenging the inquiry.
If the connected party has challenged the powers of the judge of the Election Tribunal, then how can the judge of the Election Tribunal go on with the proceedings?
