Leader of Pakistan People’s Party and senior jurist Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the court has to hold elections on May 14, the court cannot back down, and elections will have to be held in the country.
Talking to a private TV channel, he expressed his views on the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the elections in Punjab. He said that the Supreme Court has to give a decision based on the outcome of the negotiations, the Supreme Court has given an opportunity. The PML-N may have become indifferent to the Punjab election.
The PPP leader said that he had earlier advised former Prime Minister Imran Khan to dissolve the assemblies when he dissolved the assemblies, then they ran away. PML-N dissolved the assemblies first and is enjoying itself.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are the forgotten kings, they do not understand. The PML-N has been doing politics for 40 years, they are experts in picking up the goal and moving it right and left.

Regarding the statement of Federal Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, he said that Rana Sana is giving quite an aggressive speech against the judges. The government is currently tapping the phones of judges’ relatives only.
