Tayyip Erdogan Honored Pakistan Army Rescue Team With a Special Award

President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan honored the Urban Search and Rescue Team of the Pakistan Army with a special award.

The award was received by the search and rescue team leader of the Pakistan Army, and a special award ceremony was held in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.

Pakistan Army’s USAR team left for Turkey on February 7 to help earthquake victims, Pakistan Army’s team remained in the affected area till February 22, 2023.

Pak army search and rescue team searched 91 sites and brought 8 people alive, the rescue team identified 7 people while 138 dead people were pulled out from the debris and handed over to their relatives.

Pakistan Army’s USAR team returned to Pakistan on February 23 after a successful mission.

The high military and civil authorities of Turkey sent off the rescue team of the Pakistan Army at Istanbul Airport.
