Lahore: The High Court allowed PTI leader Shehbaz Gul to go to the US for four weeks.
A three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice heard the petition filed to remove Shahbaz Gul’s name from the ECL. Shahbaz Gul was allowed to travel abroad once.
The court also sought a response from the federal government on the request to remove Shehbaz Gul’s name from the exit control list at the next hearing.

The advocate federal government stated that there are cases filed against Shahbaz Gul in Islamabad and on the request of Commissioner Islamabad, Shahbaz Gul’s name was put in the ECL. Shahbaz Gul has requested the federal government to remove the name from the ECL and the matter will be discussed in the upcoming cabinet meeting.
During the hearing, Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shehbaz Gul appeared before the court.
