The sister of Salman Ahmad, a close aide to former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan, has filed a plea in the Sindh High Court (SHC) seeking the recovery of her husband, who was arrested by the police during a raid on her house. The incident occurred on May 25 in Karachi.
The police conducted the raid and apprehended Salman Ahmad’s brother-in-law, Shahid. Following the arrest, Salman Ahmad’s sister approached the SHC, claiming that her husband’s house was being targeted by the police. The plea, filed by Barrister Salahuddin, highlighted that Salman Ahmad is a social media activist for the PTI and expressed concerns over the alleged harassment faced by Sania and her family. The plea demanded the recovery of Shahid.
