Flour Mills Association has expressed fear of a shortage of flour due to rising prices of wheat.
Chairman of the Flour Mills Association Iftikhar Mattu said that due to the restrictions of the Food Department, the arrival of wheat in the market is being badly affected, and there is a fear of a severe shortage of flour in the province.
He said that the Chief Minister should remove the restrictions because flour mills are facing serious problems in getting wheat due to the restrictions of the food department.
Iftikhar Mattu said that the stock of wheat with the mills is very low, and consumers are forced to buy flour at expensive prices, if the situation continues, there will be a shortage of flour in the market.
