Request to increase the cost of electricity for discos consumers

ISLAMABAD: Discos requested Nepra to increase the price of electricity.

The Central Power Purchasing Agency has requested to increase the cost of electricity for the consumers of discos.

CPPA has submitted a request to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to increase the price of electricity by Rs.17 paise.

Nepra will hear the Central Power Purchasing Agency’s request on May 3.

It should be noted that K Electric has already submitted a request for the fuel price adjustment, K Electric has requested to increase the price of electricity by 4 rupees 49 paise per unit, the hearing of this request will also be held on May 3.
