Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Ejaz Chaudhry was arrested again after his release from Adiala Jail. PTI says that Ejaz Chaudhry’s family members were waiting outside the jail for his release.
The Islamabad High Court had quashed the arrest order of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Ijaz Chaudhry under the 3MPO and ordered his immediate release.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb of Islamabad High Court accepted the petition against the arrest of Senator Ejaz Chaudhry under 3MPO.
The same bench of the Islamabad High Court disposed of the contempt petitions against the detention of PTI leaders Malika Bukhari and Ali Muhammad Khan and their re-arrest on the orders of Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi for lack of jurisdiction.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said that the case of Rawalpindi does not come under the jurisdiction of Islamabad High Court, you should refer to the relevant forum Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench.
