Regulatory duty on mobile phones and cars ends on March 31: Chairman FBR

ISLAMABAD: Chairman FBR says that the regulatory duty on mobile phones and cars was imposed till March 31, which ended automatically.

Chairman FBR Asim Ahmed said that the regulatory duty was imposed on mobile phones and cars till March 31 which ended automatically, FBR will impose regulatory duty on mobile phones and cars at any time.

Chairman FBR said that there is no need to notify the imposition of regulatory duty immediately because cars and mobile phones are not being imported, the decision to impose a regulatory duty on mobile phones and cars is taken by the Ministry of Commerce, as soon as the Ministry of Commerce says we will issue the notification.
