ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Insaf has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking immediate suspension and removal of caretaker chief ministers in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of Tehreek-e-Insaf President Pervaiz Elahi and former Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan.

It has been requested in the petition that the caretaker chief ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should be immediately removed after the completion of the constitutional term.
In the petition, it is also requested to immediately stop the two caretaker chief ministers from exercising their powers.
