Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved a 100% special allowance for private secretaries.
According to the report of Moqar Qaumi newspaper, it will not apply to the secretaries appointed on deputation in the Federal Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office, and the President’s House.
There is a possibility of up to a 30% increase in salaries and pensions of government employees
Summary of the Ministry of Finance Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a 100% special allowance on their basic salary for private secretaries and senior private secretaries of grade 17 and above appointed in the Federal Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office, and President’s House.

According to the newspaper report, this allowance will be applicable from January 1, 2023, and this allowance will be given on the basic salary of private secretaries and senior private secretaries on June 30, 2022.
