ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a reduction in the price of high-speed diesel by Rs 5 per liter while maintaining the price of petrol for the next 15 days. According to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Finance about the new prices, the prices of petrol have been maintained, but high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 5 per liter, kerosene oil, and light diesel oil by Rs 10 per liter.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol will remain at Rs 282 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel will be reduced from Rs 293 per liter to Rs 288 per liter, the price of kerosene will be reduced from Rs 186.07 per liter to Rs 176.07 per liter, while the price of light diesel oil will be reduced from Rs 186.07 per liter to Rs 176.07 per liter. The price has been reduced from Rs 174.68 per liter to Rs 164.68 per liter.

The prices will be applicable from 12 noon while the new prices will remain in effect for the next 15 days.
