Pervez Elahi Granted Bail in Police Attack Case

Lahore: The anti-terrorism court has approved the bail of former Punjab Chief Minister and PTI President Pervez Elahi.

The Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore heard the PTI President’s interim bail application in the case filed at Ghalib Market Police Station regarding the resistance and attack on the police during the raid on Pervez Elahi’s house, in which Pervez Elahi appeared in the court.

Pervaiz Elahi took the stand that Ghalib Market police baselessly accused the police party of attacking the police party, the police party has also been accused of throwing petrol bombs in the case, the police filed a false case to target political revenge.

Pervez Elahi requested that the bail be approved before the final decision of the trial.

The Anti-Terrorism Court granted bail to Parvez Elahi in this case against a surety bond of 50,000 rupees.

Talking to the media outside the court, Parvez Elahi criticized the government and said that we know him and his family too, they have a habit of making promises and never fulfilling them, the cases will go on together, and we will fulfill them. As we are fighting, we have no fear.
