The management of Major League Cricket (MLC) has approached senior officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) with a request for national players to participate in the league. Sources reveal that the PCB has given the green signal to the MLC management regarding the inclusion of national players in the league.
As part of a compromise, the PCB has put forth a condition to the MLC authorities instead of granting No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to Pakistani players. The PCB has demanded a fee of USD 25,000 in the event that any national player is selected in the MLC draft.

The PCB representative stated, “We will grant permission to Pakistani players once this condition is fulfilled.” The MLC has requested time to consider meeting the PCB’s condition.
