ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister said that Parliament will go to the last extent to protect its powers.
Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said in a statement that a transparent and fair system has been provided by the legislation, Parliament has the right to fully protect and defend its constitutional rights and will go to the last extent to protect its constitutional powers. No one can take away his constitutional power to legislate.
He said that the Judiciary’s authority is to interpret the Constitution and the law. It is not the power of the Judiciary to restrict or restrict legislative power.

Maryam Aurangzeb said that Parliament enacted legislation on the long-standing demand of lawyers, bar councils, and associations, the legislation related to Article 184-3 did not reduce the authority, independence, and autonomy of the judiciary, but ‘one-man-show’ and ‘ Imperial Court’ objections were removed, now the three senior judges of the Supreme Court will exercise this power in consultation.
