The building code of the building owned by the Pakistani embassy in the US has been changed, the historic building has been moved from class three to class four of the building code.
The building is in a dilapidated condition, in danger of collapsing, a notice has been put on the building by the local government, while the tax on the historic building has also increased.

The building has been vacant for fifteen years, and the building’s diplomatic status was revoked in 2018.
The historic building was supposed to be auctioned, but the auction was put on hold in January.
